Importing the Root Certificate of the LDAP Directory 

Use

For the SAP NetWeaver Application Server (AS) Java to trust the LDAP directory server, you must import the root certificate of the LDAP directory server into the keystore of trusted Certification Authorities of the AS Java.

Prerequisites

You have downloaded the root certificate of the LDAP directory server. For more information about how to download the root certificate, consult the documentation of the directory server vendor.

Procedure

For each server process that is to support SSL to the LDAP directory:

...

       1.      In the visual administrator, choose Server → Services → Key Storage.

       2.      Under Views, select the TrustedCAs view.

       3.      Choose Load.

       4.      Navigate to the location of the root certificate of the LDAP directory, select the file, and choose OK.

The root certificate of the LDAP directory appears in the list of entries of the TrustedCAs view.
