Procedure

  1. Select the plot area.
  2. Place the cursor on a selection point.

    3. The cursor changes into a double arrow.

  3. Depress the left-hand mouse button.

    4. The cursor changes into a cross.

  4. Drag the chart keeping the left-hand mouse button depressed until the chart is the required size.

Result

When you release the mouse button the chart is resized.
