Configuring the IGS for ABAP-based Front-End Technology 

Use

If you use any ABAP-based front end technology (for example BSP, Web Dynpro ABAP, BEx Web Reporting, SAPGUI for HTML etc), you have to create an RFC destination in the SAP system to connect the IGS to the SAP system.

Procedure

For the integrated IGS version, the necessary RFC destinations GFW_ITS_RFC_DEST and IGS_RFC_DEST are created automatically. The program ID is IGS.<SAPSYSTEMNAME> where SAPSYSTEMNAME is the name of your system.
