Use

This ODS object facilitates the extraction of lean BDoc types for sales contracts to the Sales Contracts (Value and Quantity)  ODS (technical name: 0CRM_CNT2). Lean BDoc type is messaging BDoc type that is used to update predefined fields of a record.

Lean BDoc types cannot be uploaded directly to the Sales Contracts (Value and Quantity) ODS object, since this ODS object does not support such an extraction. Therefore, the following process takes place:

...

       1.      The InfoObjects contained in lean BDoc types are first extracted into the InfoSource CRM Sales Contracts: Items (technical name: 0CRM_SALES_CONT_I).

       2.      This information is then updated into the Sales Contracts (Lean Extraction) ODS object that contains a subset of relevant InfoObjects of the Sales Contracts (Value and Quantity) ODS object.

       3.      These InfoObjects are then finally uploaded to the Sales Contracts (Value and Quantity) ODS object using update rules, which define the relevant fields that need to be updated.

Note 

·         You must use this ODS object only if you work with lean BDoc types for documents in CRM Enterprise.

·         This ODS object does not allow BEx Reporting that is, you cannot base any queries on this ODS object.

Delta Update

This Sales Contracts (Lean Extraction) ODS object is designed only for delta updates from the InfoSource CRM Sales Contracts: Items. Therefore the update rules from this InfoSource to Sales Contracts (Lean Extraction) ODS object ignore all InfoPackages that are not in update mode Delta Update.

This ODS object is updating data into the Sales Contracts (Value and Quantity) ODS object. InfoObjects that are part of both Sales Contracts (Value and Quantity) ODS object and Sales Contracts (Lean Extraction) ODS object are updated. All other InfoObjects of Sales Contracts (Value and Quantity) ODS object remain unchanged.
