Use
This characteristic is a
consolidated InfoObject that provides a global view of the business object "Company" using various technical representations from different systems. The systems can be either different SAP components (R/3, CRM, EBP) or non-SAP systems.
In this context, the business object "Company" means a legally independent unit within a corporate group.

Flexible Update
To facilitate the update of master data and texts from different SAP components into the present InfoObjects for company and also into the consolidated InfoObject 0GN_COMPANY, additional InfoSources have been developed in SAP BW release 3.0B with flexible update (see also,
Flexible Update for Central Master Data Objects).
The concept of consolidated InfoObjects is extensible You can update additional InfoObjects for the business object "Company" from different source systems (for example, non-SAP systems) into the consolidated InfoObject 0GN_COMPANY.
