The version of this alternate component Note If this field is blank, specifies the current version of the alternate component. An asterisk (*) specifies that any version of the alternate component may be used by operators or machines as a substitute for this material. If a specific version is entered, only this version can be used. End of the note. |
Enabled |
If selected, the operator or machine can use this component as a substitute for this material |
Valid Assembly |
The assembly against which this material and alternate component are valid for substitution Note If both the Valid Assembly field and the Material Group field are left blank, this alternate component applies to all assemblies. If you want this alternate component to be valid for multiple assemblies, use the ampersand (&) symbol as the wildcard for lookup. For example, enter AA& to specify that this material and an alternate component are valid against all assemblies that begin with the characters AA. End of the note. |
Valid Version |
The version of the valid assembly Note If blank, specifies the current version of the valid assembly. An asterisk (*) specifies that any version of the valid assembly may be used as the assembly against which this material and alternate component are valid for substitution. End of the note. |
Material Group |
