Floor Stock Management

You can use this function to manually receive and record material traceability data, the material location, and to reserve the material on the shop floor for a specific shop order, operation, resource, or work center. Inventory records allow you to track down purchased components during the production of a material (see Component). You can place component material on hold or quarantine if it is not to be consumed during manufacturing.

Integration

When SAP ME ERP Integration is enabled, the system can receive floor stock records from SAP ERP and can send notifications to SAP ERP when floor stock material is returned to inventory or has been scrapped.
