You use this activity to define various types of production days.

For more information, see Production Calendar.

Procedure

To define a new type of production day, do the following:

  1. On the Production Shift Maintenance screen, enter the name of the new day type and a description that helps identify it later on.

  2. Specify one or more production shifts for this date type by inserting new rows in the table and entering the following data:

    Column

    Description

    Shift

The name of the production shift

    Start

The time of the day when the shift begins, in the hh:mm format (in the range of 00:00 to 23:59)

    Day

The calendar day (Actual Day, Shift Start Day, or Shift End Day) to which this shift's work is to be attributed.

In most cases, Actual Day (the default) is the appropriate value. The value of Shift Start Day or Shift End Day is used for situations in which the shift spans midnight, so you can specify the day to which the work is attributed.

    End

The time of the day when the shift ends, in the hh:mm format (in the range of 00:00 to 23:59)

  3. Save your entries.
