Lead Time Scheduling with Takts Locate this document in the navigation structure

Use

Production orders can be scheduled using the line hierarchy in the routing. The operation dates are calculated using the takts and takt times from the line hierarchy. To do this, it is necessary that a line hierarchy has been entered in the routing and the individual operations have been assigned to a takt. Lead time scheduling will be executed for operations that have not been assigned to a takt.

Scheduling occurs analogous to the scheduling in the sequencing (see Example 1 , Example 2 , Example 3 ).

In addition, the duration of the operation steps is calculated using the default values in the routing. The information obtained from the durations can be compared to the results of the lead time scheduling with takts (for example, the check whether an operation can be processed in takt).
