You can use the transaction Manage Navigation Profiles (NAVP_MANAGE) to manage navigation profiles directly.
You can only manage navigation profiles application functions, if application or example data is available. You can only call up the function for managing navigation profiles from the corresponding output lists if data is available.
Regardless of the existing navigation profiles, you can use the function Manage Navigation Profiles (transaction code NAVP_MANAGE) to directly manage navigation profiles.
To manage navigation profiles directly, you must know the report name, handle and logical group. However, these are not assigned until the validity period begins.
You can use the class call CL_NAVP_SHOW_PROFILE_KEY to determine this data for the application in question. (See the section Activities )
You can find this data in the table NAVP_PROFILE, provided that navigation profiles for programs and reports exist in the client.
If no navigation profiles exist in the client you can still call the management of navigation profiles directly, by entering * on the selection screen, in the field Report Name.
You can only transport navigation profiles into other clients from the Customizing client.
You can delete, transport, or import navigation profiles either in the application itself or directly, in the transaction NAVP_MANAGE.
In the relevant application function, choose ( ) Manage Navigation Profile
You should note that user profiles and standard profiles are managed separately.
Choose Profile → Standard Profile or User Profile , to display the standard profile instead of the user profile.
Execute the function Manage Navigation Profiles (NAVP_MANAGE) to manage navigation profiles. You use this function if you want to manage navigation profiles in clients that do not contain application data, such as Customizing clients.
You determine the input values for the transaction Manage Navigation Profiles (NAVP_MANAGE) as follows:
In any client, access the application or output list for which you want to manage navigation profiles.
Choose ( ) Change Navigation Profile and insert a class call. In the field Implementing Class, enter CL_NAVP_SHOW_PROFILE_KEY.
Choose Continue or, if necessary, save the navigation profile to leave the dialog box and return to the output list.
Execute the class call that you have added from the list.
The system displays a dialog box containing the technical values that you need in order to manage navigation profiles in the transaction NAVP_MANAGE.
Enter the technical values from the class call on the selection screen of the function Manage Navigation Profiles (NAVP_MANAGE).
Call the function for managing navigation profiles (either in the application or via the transaction NAVP_MANAGE).
Select the profile in question.
Choose ( ) Delete Profiles
Choose Save

Choose Profile → Transport
You want to transport navigation profiles between systems.
To do this, proceed as follows:
Create navigation profiles in clients in which application or example data is available.
Import these navigation profiles into the Customizing client. (Because there is no application data in Customizing clients, you cannot manage navigation profiles there).
Transport the imported navigation profiles from the Customizing client into other systems or clients.
