You use this activity to enter values for data parameters and user-defined fields associated with DC groups for SFC numbers, resources, or work centers.
Note that this plug-in can process DC groups only with the status of Releasable or Frozen.

The Data Collection Entry plug-in can be configured to collect data on choosing the DC Collect button in the DC Group List list (see DC Group List), or on Start, Complete, or at any time.
You have reviewed or defined lists for the DC_COLLECT category in List Maintenance (see List Maintenance).
You have reviewed or specified DC Collect List to be used in the POD on the Options tab page of POD Maintenance (see POD Maintenance).
The following table describes rules and settings that you can change for this activity in Activity Maintenance:

You may deselect the checkbox to switch from the Manual – Multiple mode to the Manual-Single mode. Mode | Description |

Manual-Multiple | Data is collected once to be copied to all selected SFC numbers. |
Manual-Single | Data is collected separately for each SFC number. After Data Collection opens in the Manual-Multiple mode, you can deselect the Apply to All SFCs checkbox to switch to Manual-Single mode. Data Collection automatically switches to this mode after the data has been collected for all DC groups in the Manual-Multiple mode. |

Check the current operation/resource to verify if all the required data has been collected (see Open Data Collections Check)
Check all operations on the routing up to the current operation to verify if all data collected for the current SFC number is within the defined Min/Max thresholds (see Data Collection Limits Check)
