Work Center POD

You need to start an SFC number in the Default Work Center POD.

Prerequisites
  • You have assigned USER1 to work center WC1 and USER2 to work center WC2.

  • In Supervisor Work Assignment, you have assigned SFC numbers from the following shop orders to USER1 on specific operations on the routing:

    • USR1WC1EUN1 SFC

    • USR1WC1EUN2 SFC

    • USR1WC12EUN2 SFC

    • USR1WC12EUN2

  • In Supervisor Work Assignment, you have assigned SFC numbers from the following shop orders to USER2:

    • USR2WC1EUN1 SFC

    • USR2WC1EUN2 SFC

    • USR2WC12EUN2 SFC

    • USR2WC12EUN2

  • In System Rule Maintenance, you have set the Display End Unit Number rule to true.

  • Both users have permissions to start and complete SFC numbers in the POD.

Work Center POD Selection

To select SFC numbers and start them in the Work Center POD, proceed as follows:

  1. In Default Work Center POD, enter USER1 in the User field and retrieve the data. In the POD Work List, the POD displays information about the SFC numbers containing operations assigned to USER1 and matching filter criteria regardless of work center or end unit number.

  2. Choose an SFC number; the Operation list displays SFC operations assigned to the user at this work center.

  3. Choose an operation from the Operation list and start the SFC number.

  4. Repeat steps 1–3 for USER2.

  5. Enter USER1 in the User field, WC1 in the Work Center field and retrieve the data. In the POD Work List, the POD displays information about the SFC numbers containing operations assigned to USER1 for the specified work center and matching filter criteria regardless of end unit number.

  6. Enter EUN1 in the End Unit Number field and retrieve the data. In the POD Work List, the POD displays information about the SFC numbers containing operations assigned to USER1 for the specified work center and end unit number.

  7. Clear the screen and enter WC1 in the Work Center field. In the POD Work List, the POD displays information about the SFC numbers for the specified work center regardless of end unit number or user assignment.

  8. Clear the screen and enter WC1 in the Work Center field, EUN1 in the End Unit Number field and retrieve the data. In the POD Work List, the POD displays information about the SFC numbers containing operations assigned to the specified work center WC1 and end unit number EUN1.

Operation POD

You need to start an SFC number and process lot in the Operation POD.

Prerequisites
  • Operations that are assigned to routing for the MAT1 material have the DEFAULT resource assigned to them.

  • SFC number MAT1-0001 for the material MAT1 for a quantity 1 is released for processing on the production routing.

  • You have permission to start and complete SFC numbers in the POD.

Operation POD Selection

To select SFC numbers, start and complete them in the Default Operation POD, proceed as follows:

  1. In the Default Operation POD, enter your operation and the DEFAULT resource. In the POD Work List, the POD displays information about the SFC numbers in an Active status on this operation for this resource.

  2. Choose an SFC number from the POD Work List and start it. The active SFC number remains selected in the POD Work List.

  3. Complete the SFC number. The SFC number's status changes to Done and it is removed from the POD Work List.

Prerequisites
  • Operations that are assigned to the routing for the MAT1 material and to the routing for the MAT2 material have the DEFAULT resource assigned to them.

  • In Create and Release SFC, you have created and released SFC numbers for the material MAT2 for a quantity of 10 for processing on a production routing and added to a new process lot.

  • In POD Maintenance, you have configured Operation POD to display process lots in Browse Work List and POD Work List.

  • You have permission to start and complete SFC numbers in the POD.

Process Lot POD Selection

To select SFC numbers, start and complete them in the Operation POD, proceed as follows:

  1. In the Operation POD, enter your operation and the DEFAULT resource. In the POD Work List, the POD displays information about the process lots with SFC numbers in an Active status on this operation for this resource.

  2. Choose a process lot from the POD Work List and start it. Active process lot remains selected in the POD Work List.

  3. Complete the process lot. Its status changes to Done and it is removed from the POD Work List.
