You can display the cost object hierarchy and the values posted to the individual cost object nodes in the information system of Product Cost by Period .
If the posting data for the cost object hierarchy is displayed, the cost object hierarchy is referred to as a data entry object . In addition, you can display the values posted to the orders (product cost collectors or manufacturing orders) assigned to the cost object hierarchy.
You can summarize the values for the cost object hierarchy level by level and display the summarized values in the information system . If the summarized data should be analyzed, the cost object hierarchy is referred to as a summarization object . Every cost object node can become a summarization object. It is a prerequisite that a data collection run for summarization has been carried out (see: Collecting Data for a Cost Object Hierarchy ).
You can find reports for the cost object hierarchy in the report categories Detailed Reports and Object Lists . They are not found under Summarized Analysis .
