You use this activity to add SFC numbers, containers, or process lots to a specific container or to remove them from a container (see Container).

You can also pack a partial quantity of an SFC number into a container (see SFC Number).

Rules

The following table describes rules and settings that you can change for this activity in Activity Maintenance:

ACCESS_CLOSED_ CONTAINERS

If set to YES (default), gives users access to closed containers

ACCESS_OPEN_ CONTAINERS

If set to YES (default), gives users access to open containers

ALLOW_ACTIVE_SFC

If set to YES (default), allows SFC numbers with the Active status to be packed into or unpacked from a container

ALLOW_DONE_ SFC

If set to YES (default), allows SFC numbers with the Done status to be packed into or unpacked from a container

ALLOW_INQUE_SFC

If set to YES (default), allows SFC numbers with the In Queue status to be packed into or unpacked from a container

ALLOW_PACK

If set to YES (default), allows users to pack containers

ALLOW_UNPACK

If set to YES (default), allows users to unpack containers

ERP_ITEM_FILTER

Related to SAP ME ERP integration (see SAP ME ERP Integration (SAPMEINT))

Defines which messages are sent to SAP ERP. The system sends confirmations and corresponding Goods Issued messages to SAP ERP if the SFC number that is packed in the container meets one of the filters

Filters are separated by comma (,) and allow the use of a wildcard (*). For example, *; MATERIAL1*,Material1*,TOP*.

When the value is blank, no message is sent to SAP ERP.

ERP_OPERATION

Related to SAP ME ERP integration

Defines the Operation field in the confirmation message that is sent to SAP ERP when a container is closed in SAP ME. For example, ASSY,OPER1

ERP_REPORTING_STEP

Related to SAP ME ERP integration

Defines the Reporting Step field in the confirmation message that is sent to SAP ERP when a container is closed in SAP ME. For example, 0010,0020

ERP_SEQUENCE

Related to SAP ME ERP integration

Defines the Sequence field in the confirmation message that is sent to SAP ERP when a container is closed in SAP ME. For example, 0.

Fields

The following tables describe fields requiring explanation:

Main Screen

Min Qty

The minimum number of SFC numbers or containers you can pack into the container specified in the Container field

SFC/Container

SFC number or a container currently packed in the container

Qty

The number of pieces of the SFC number or container packed

Remove

Removes the SFC or container numbers selected in the Received table from the container

Done

Saves the information you have currently entered and clears the screen

Done and Close

Saves the information you have entered, marks the container closed, and clears the screen.

Note Note

Closing a container finishes the packing process for that container. You cannot add SFC numbers or existing containers to a closed container unless it is reopened.

Pack Level and Data

Field

Description

Qty

The maximum number of pieces of the selected SFC number that can be packed into a container

Note Note

This field appears when Pack Level is SFC and the lot size of the selected SFC number is greater than one.

Add

Adds the SFC number, partial SFC quantity, or an existing container to the container, and clears the Pack Level and Data fields

Unpack Screen

Field

Description

New Packed Qty

The current number of SFC numbers or containers packed in the container after SFC numbers or existing containers have been unpacked

SFC Step Status

Displays the SFC Step Status activity

Unpack

Moves the SFC numbers or containers selected in the Packed table to the Unpacked table

Repack

Moves the SFC numbers or containers selected in the Unpacked table to the Packed table
