You use this activity to create and change work center records by assigning either resources or work centers to them (see Work Center).
A specific resource can belong to only one work center. You must also assign sequence values to the elements in a work center.
If your shop floor uses machine interfaces, work center names must be unique across all sites to ensure that the system sends messages to the correct destinations. For example, SITE1 and SITE2 should not both contain a work center with the name WCVM.
This activity allows you to do the following:
Nest work centers inside other work centers and produce a hierarchical structure with resources as the bottom nodes
Sequence resources within a work center
Release SFC numbers to work centers (see Releasing SFC Numbers to Work Centers)

Assignment Enforcement | None: Allows any user to perform a transaction against an SFC number at an operation in this work center. Warning: Displays a warning message to a user performing a transaction against an SFC number in this work center if the user is not assigned to the SFC number at the selected operation. Enforced: Displays an error message to a user performing a transaction against an SFC number in this work center if the user is not assigned to the SFC number at the selected operation.
