You use this activity to assign materials of the same characteristics to a material group.
This activity also allows you to do the following:
Specify transfer settings for material groups on the Transfer tab page
Enter custom data values (see Custom Data)

The mask group for this material You can define mask groups in Validation Mask Maintenance. |
Filter on Material |
Allows you to search for materials Note You can use this field if you know the full or partial name of the material you want to assign to the material group. You can use SQL wildcard characters % and _ to filter your search. You can leave this field blank and retrieve all the materials defined for the site. End of the note. |

Transfer Type |
The transfer type for this material or material group SFC_SPAN: This SFC number began manufacturing at one location and will be moved to another location for additional processing. SFC_CONSUME: This SFC number has completed its manufacturing processes and will be consumed as a subassembly in a top-level assembly. NO_TRANSFER: This SFC number will not be transferred. Note that a transfer type can be defined for a destination site only once. |
Receive |
Selected: You can receive the transfer type record manually through the SFC Number Receipt activity. Deselected: You can receive the transfer type record automatically. |
Destination Site |
The destination site into which an SFC number can be transferred Note NO_TRANSFER does not have a destination site. End of the note. |
Export Template |
The export template used for the SFC number transfer Note If NO_SFC_DATA is selected, the system transfers the SFC number with no SFC number data records. End of the note. |
Message Type |
The message type that occurs on a destination site after the SFC number has been transferred |
