You use this activity to receive transferred SFC numbers and SFC data from an originating site, either to be utilized as subassemblies or to continue processing at your site. For more information, see SFC Number Transfer.

Fields

The following table describes fields requiring explanation:

Field

Description

Transfer Type

SFC_SPAN: This SFC number began manufacturing at one location and will be moved to another location for additional processing.

SFC_CONSUME: This SFC number has completed its manufacturing processes and will be consumed as a subassembly in a top level assembly.

Run Change Production

If selected, allows you to make changes in production for the SFC numbers associated with the entity you have selected.

Note Note

This checkbox is enabled only if the shop order of the transferred SFC numbers is not defined at the destination site.

SFC_CONSUME: Accepts the displayed SFC numbers into the inventory table

SFC_SPAN: Places the SFC numbers at the first step of the routing
