You use this activity to indicate that an SFC number that was in the Active state and has been placed back in a queue at the same operation. This may occur because of conditions associated with the shop floor operator, the operation, the resource, or the priority of a shop order to be built.
The following table describes rules and settings that you can change for this activity:
Rule | Setting |
---|---|
CONFIRM_PROCESSLOT_OPTIONS | Remove (default): Removes selected SFC numbers from the process lot and signs them off Cancel: Does not remove the selected SFC numbers from the process lot and does not sign them off Continue: Signs off the selected SFC numbers without removing them from the process lot Note that if there are multiple setting values, the question dialog appears and the setting values are displayed as action buttons. |
IGNORE_NOT_ACTIVE | Yes: Ignores the SFC numbers that are not Active at the selected operation, and looks at the CONFIRM_PROCESSLOT_OPTIONS activity rule to determine how to process selected SFC numbers that are Active at the operation No: Displays an error message and does not sign off any SFC numbers if any selected SFC number is not Active at the operation |
When some SFC numbers in the process lot are not Active at the operation (partial process lot) and the activity rule IGNORE_NOT_ACTIVE is set to YES, then the system acts as follows depending on the CONFIRM_PROCESSLOT_OPTIONS activity rule settings:
If set to Continue, leaves all SFC numbers in the process lot and performs the Signoff action for the selected Active SFC numbers at the operation
If set to Remove, removes the selectedActive SFC numbers from the process lot and performs the Signoff action for them
If set to Cancel, cancels the Signoff action and displays an informational message
If left blank, displays a dialog with Continue, Remove and Cancel buttons
If two or more of non-blank settings selected, displays a dialog with the specified settings as action buttons
If the activity rule IGNORE_NOT_ACTIVE set to NO, the system cancels the Signoff action and displays an error message.
When the user sings off a shop order where not all SFC numbers are Active at the operation, the system acts as follows:
If the activity rule IGNORE_NOT_ACTIVE is set to NO, the system cancels the Signoff action, and displays an informational message.
If the activity rule IGNORE_NOT_ACTIVE is set to YES, the system leaves all of the SFC numbers in the shop order and proceeds with the Signoff action.
