You use the SY520 hook point activity to print documents to a third-party printing program.

This activity is commonly used with the following hook points at the operation, routing step, and resource:

PRE_COMPLETE
POST_COMPLETE
PRE_START
POST_START

This activity is commonly used with the following hooks points at site level:

POST_ORDER_RELEASE
REOPEN_CONTAINER
POST_SERIALIZE
POST_SPLIT
POST_CONTAINER_CLOSE
POST_INV_RECEIPT
POST_PROD_CHANGE

Rules

The following table describes rules and settings that you can change for this activity in Activity Maintenance:

Rule	Setting
`DOCUMENTS`	Blank (default): Disables printing. User-defined: You can enter one or more names of documents you defined in Document Maintenance. If you enter more than one document name, separate the names with commas. Prints documents created in a third-party printing package using the Document Print (`SY520`) hook point activity at specified hook points. `LABEL`: Prints the LABEL document that comes with the system at places where you set hook points to execute Document Print (`SY520`).
`PRINTER_NAME`	Blank (default): Uses the printer assigned to the POD `Printer`: Sends the documents to this printer when the hook point activity is executed.
