Use

You can use the "general" navigation profile to insert additional functions or transactions into the application toolbar or context menu of an ALV grid control or ALV tree control. You can create, change, save, and manage user-specific and non user-specific navigation profiles. In navigation profiles, you can define which functions, transactions, class calls, or menus are displayed in the application toolbar or context menu. You can also transport or import navigation profiles.

Caution Caution

Unlike the "general" navigation profile, you can only use the Material Requirements Planning Navigation Profile in the Stock/Requirements List and in the MRP List .

For more information about the MRP navigation profile, see Flexible Transaction Calls , Define General Transaction Calls and Transaction Calls per MRP Element .

End of the caution.

Integration

You can use the navigation profile not only in selected functions of production planning and control, but you also incorporate navigation profiles in your own applications with AVL grid controls and ALV tree controls.

See Use Navigation Profiles in Your Own ALV Grid Controls and ALV Tree Controls

    End of the caution.
  • Delete entries

Choose ( ) ( Delete Entry ), to delete entries or lines.

Manage Navigation Profile

The system displays an overview of standard or user profiles and you can, for example, choose a default setting.

Note Note

The system decides which navigation profile is chosen on the basis of the default setting, using the following logic:

  • If a user profile has been chosen as the default setting, the system uses this user profile.

  • If no user profile has been chosen as the default setting, the system uses the standard profile that has been chosen as the default setting.

  • If no standard profile has been chosen as the default setting, the system uses the SAP standard profile that has been chosen as the default setting.

End of the note.

You can also delete, transport or import navigation profiles, for example by choosing   Profile   Import   .

You can use the transaction Manage Navigation Profiles (transaction NAVP_MANAGE) to manage navigation profiles directly.
