Assigning Values to Characteristics

The system displays the work center, the process, the method and the value type to be calculated on the screen Char. Val. Assigmt. You can maintain the values for the characteristics here that are needed for the method calculation.

The system displays default values for characteristics that you have maintained in the method or in characteristic maintenance and you can change these values, if necessary ( see also Maintaining Default Values for Characteristics ).

If there are one or more characteristics to which you have not assigned a value, then the system calculates using the value zero in the case of numerical fields if mathematically possible.

If you have assigned values to the characteristics, press the function key Next screen. You reach the screen Method Result .
