You use this activity to view the Verified Defects chart associated with logged NC codes in the Operation PODs.

To display the NC chart, proceed as follows:
Set up the NC Chart (NC_CHART) plug-in in POD Maintenance.
Create a button on the Buttons tab page.
Define a layout area for NC Chart (NC_CHART) on the Layout tab page.
In NC Client Maintenance, on the NC Data Chart tab page, select how many verified defect bars you want to appear in the chart (default value is 5).
To display the component and its description in the chart, select the Display Component/Description on Chart checkbox.
In the POD of the Operation type, log primary and secondary NC codes with the same failure ID.
Ensure that a system administrator has set the FailureHistoryExtract.bat file to run in a scheduler and that the file has been run at least once. Running this batch file is necessary to display the Verified Defects chart.
Launch NC Tree and select primary or secondary NC code that has been logged before.
Choose the NC Chart button.
The Verified Defects NC chart is displayed.
