This group controls various features and functions such as Data Collection, Archiving, SPC, Packing, and Labor Tracking:
System Rule | Description |
---|---|
Allow Multiple Data Collection | true: Enables the user to collect data multiple times per SFC number for each DC group, at an attachment point false (default): Data can be collected only once per SFC number for a DC group at an attachment point. For more information, see Data Collection (DC) and Data Collection Limits Check. |
Archive Component When Parent Archived | true: Archives components only when the parent assembly is archived, instead of when the component's status is Done; the system does not archive components until it archives their parent assembly. You can use this setting in Material Maintenance to override the rule for materials that you want to keep in floor stock. false (default): Archives components when their status is Done. This setting results in fewer records in the WIP database at a given time. By the time components are consumed out of finished goods inventory into a top level assembly, their WIP records may have already been archived. Can override at: site, material |
Archive SFCs When Shop Order Is Closed or Done | If set to true, archives SFC numbers belonging to a shop order using the batch archiving process when the shop order status changes to Done or Closed. For more information about the batch archiving process, see Archiving. Note This system rule applies only if the SFC numbers are not marked for immediate archive. End of the note. |
Days Before Archiving SFC/SO | Specifies the number of days that a closed shop order (SO) and its associated SFC numbers remain in the WIP database before the system archives them Default: 365. Enter 0 to allow records to be archived immediately after the shop order is closed. Can override at: site |
Enable Labor Tracking | If set to true, turns on the Labor Tracking feature in the system (see Labor Tracking) |
Expand Archive Handles | The system database contains foreign key values like SFCBO that contain values for site and SFC number. This foreign key is exploded into multiples columns (like Site and SFC Number) for easy reporting. true: Stores archived data in an expanded format for easy reporting. false: Stores archived data in a contracted format. Can override at: site For more information, see Archiving. |
Statit Server Host Computer Name | The host name of the server where the Statit e-Server software is installed and running. Default: LOCALHOST Can override at: site Note You must install and configure Statit e-Server obtained from your Statit Software vendor for use with SAP ME statistical process control (SPC). For more information, see Setting Up Statistical Process Control (SPC). Statit e-Server software requires an additional license. End of the note. |
Store Data Collection Results in ODS | true: Stores data collected by production operators on the shop floor directly in the ODS database without storing the data in the WIP database false (default): Stores data collected by production operators on the shop floor directly in the WIP database For more information, see . |
Store Test Plan Results in ODS | true: Stores test plan information that is automatically collected using shop floor production XML interface directly in the ODS database without storing the data in the WIP database false (default): Stores test plan information automatically collected using shop floor production XML interface directly in the WIP database |
