On this screen, you provide information used to configure the SAP NetWeaver instance where SAP ME is deployed.

Description

Enter the name of a valid host of the SAP NetWeaver instance where SAP ME is going to be deployed. In the case of a clustered environment, make sure the host URL is configured with the host name of the central SAP NetWeaver instance.

SAPMEINT
SAP ME Host URL in Supported SAP ME Plants is configured with the specified host. You can verify this configuration in Supported SAP ME Plants by choosing SAP ME ERP Integration SAPMEINT Configuration Supported SAP ME Plants in SAP MII Dashboard menu.

If the Used for Reporting in SAP MII checkbox is selected, then the Global Configuration property SAPMEINT_ME_Host is created or updated with the SAP ME Host specified on this screen. You can verify this configuration by choosing SAP ME ERP Integration SAPMEINT Configuration Global Configuration in SAP MII Dashboard menu.

Recommendation

A valid SAP ME host where the supported SAP ME plant being configured is going to be created or updated.

By default, this field is populated with the host name of the server where the configuration template SAPMEINTCTC is being executed.

This should only be changed when SAP ME and SAP MII are running on two different SAP NetWeaver instances.

Port

Description

Enter the port number of the SAP NetWeaver instance where SAP ME is going to be deployed. In the case of a clustered environment, make sure the host URL is configured with the port number of the central SAP NetWeaver instance.
