Log Tool Check

You use the LOG_TOOL_HOOK hook activity to validate that tools required for an SFC number at current point are logged or set up on the resource.

This activity can be used with the Start or Complete hook points at resource, operation, or routing step level.

Rules

The following table describes rules and settings that you can change for this activity in Activity Maintenance:

CHECK_OPTION	DISCRETE: Prevents start or complete of an SFC number if at least one tool from discrete groups applicable to the SFC number at the current operation, resource or routing step has not been logged in Log Tool Entry (see Log Tool Entry) TIME_BASED: Prevents start or complete of an SFC number if at least one tool from time-based tool groups applicable to the SFC number at the current operation, resource, or routing step is not defined in Resource Setup (see Resource Setup) BOTH: Performs both DISCRETE and TB validations and prevents start or complete of an SFC number if at least one of these validations fails
