Procedure documentationClaiming Earned Standards in the POD

You can earn standards by claiming in the POD or awarding automatically by completing an SFC number or operation (see Working with Standards).

Procedure

Claiming Operation and SFC Standards
  1. Choose the Earned Standards button in the POD.

The system displays current information for the selected operation and SFC number on the Earned Standards Time Mode screen. If there are no operations standards defined, then the system displays only the SFC standards.

  2. Enter valid values in the Claim Setup and Run standards fields and choose the Claim button.

The system recalculates the earned setup, run, and standard percent values. The Earned Standards panel is updated with new Earned Standards and Standard Percent values.

    Note Note

The sum of the earned time and the claim time cannot exceed the standard time.

    End of the note.
Unclaiming Operation and SFC Number Standards
  1. Choose the Earned Standards button in the POD.

The system displays current information for the selected operation and SFC number on the Earned Standards Time Mode screen. If there are no operations standards defined, then the system displays only the SFC number standards.

  2. Select the Unclaim value in the Action Type field.

    Note Note

To perform the Unclaim action, the AUTHORIZED_PERFORM_UNCLAIM activity rule must be set to TRUE (see Earned Standards Plug-In).

    End of the note.
  3. Enter valid values in the Setup and Run standards fields and choose the Unclaim button.

The system recalculates the earned setup, run, and standard percent values. The Earned Standards panel is updated with new earned standards and standard percent values.

    Note Note

The unclaimed amount is subtracted from the current total setup or run earned standards for the operation or SFC number and is not related to the Claim or Award records for the operation or SFC number (except when the same user performs both the Claim and the Unclaim actions).

    End of the note.
