You use this activity to group activities in the Activity Manager
and on the Permissions
tab page of User Group Maintenance
.
You can also add groups to other groups to create subdivisions.
The system comes delivered with a set of activity groups and activities already assigned to them. Make additions and changes as needed for your site. A group with no activities or other activity groups assigned to it is not displayed.
The system displays activities within a group in alphabetical order.
You must add an activity to a group on the Permissions
tab page in User Group Maintenance
before the system can display it in the Activity Manager
.
On the initial Activity Group Maintenance
screen, enter the name of your activity group and a description.
On the Activity Group
tab page, assign one or more exiting activity groups to this activity group as subdivisions of this group.
On the Activities
tab page, assign one or more exiting activities to this activity group.
Save your entries.
