You can edit and verify the following configuration categories, defined at the system level:

  • Data Access and User Assignment for Role Role_SAPMEINT:

    Choose this category to display a list of roles assigned to the data servers SAPMEINT and SAPMEWIP.

    Displays the following navigation links:

    Verify Configuration

    Checks if the role Role_SAPMEINT is assigned to the data servers SAPMEINT and SAPMEWIP.

    If assigned, checks if the role is assigned to ERP.BasicAuthUser. If the role is not assigned, the system displays an error message.

    If the Roles SAP_XMII_Administrator, SAP_XMII_Developer, SAP_XMII_Super_Administrator, and SAP_XMII_User are missing for SAPMESYS, the system displays a warning message.

  • Database Configuration

    Choose this category to display the details of SAPMEINT and SAPMEWIP Data Servers and corresponding SAP Netweaver Data Sources. The configuration category details are displayed in a name-value pair format.

    Verify Configuration

    Checks the connection by pinging the database. Checks by pinging through Data Source and Data Server for both SAPMEWIP and SAPMEINT.

    • If the dB connection via data source fails, the system displays an error message.

    • If the SAPMEINT or SAPMEWIP data server is not pointing to the right database, the system displays an error message.

  • Global Configuration

    Choose this category to display key global configuration parameters such asHost, Port, and Application Context parameters.

    Verify Configuration

    Checks if the Application Context is ‘/manufacturing'. If yes, then pings the SAP ME server using Host, Port, and Application Context parameters. If the ping fails, the system displays an error message.

  • Java System Properties

    Choose this category to display the following Java system properties in name-value pair format:

    • webservice.authenticationMechanismType

    • webservice.EndpointUrlPrefix

    • webservice.UserName

    Verify Configuration

    • Checks the value of webservice.authenticationmechanismtype. The value should be 1. If the value is not 1, the system displays an error message.

    • Checks the value of webservice.EndpointUrlPrefix to make sure it has ‘SOAPRunner’ at the end and uses it to ping the system. If it fails to ping, the system displays an error message.

  • Message Scheduler

    Choose this category to display details of the following Message Schedulers in name-value pair format:

    • MessageDispatcher

    • QueueMessageCleaner

    • MessageEnqueuer

    • InboundMessageEnqueuer

    Verify Configuration

    Checks if the following schedulers are available:

    • Message Dispatcher

    • Queue Message Cleaner

    • Message Enqueuer

    • Inbound Message Enqueuer

    If available, the system checks if the schedulers are enabled or disabled and displays an error message for each missed, disabled, and last run failed Scheduler.

  • Workflow Configuration

    On choosing this category, the system checks if all the standard workflows are available.

    Verify Configuration

    Checks if all the standard workflows are available. If any of the workflows are not available, the system displays the missing workflows in a table.

    The system displays and updates the warning messages with individual entry for each missing workflow in the log.
