Certification
An acknowledgement of the expertise required of an operator to perform a certain task on the shop floor
The certification process ensures that only personnel who have been trained and certified to perform specific jobs or tasks for material, operations, or resources. This expertise provides assurance that manufacturing tasks are performed to the highest quality standards with qualified personnel.
Structure
A certification record can have the following attributes:
Duration Type

Max Number of Extensions

Integration
You can group individual certifications by task, such as welding, sawing, or drilling (see Certification Type Maintenance).
You assign certifications to materials, operations, resources, DC group, or customer orders.
