These screens appear when you double-click the Done, Hold, Scrap, or Return steps on the Routing tab page of the Routing Maintenance screen in the drawing area.

Done Step Properties Screen

Field

Description

Entry Step

If selected, this routing step is the entry step on the routing. Only one routing step can be the entry step.

Step ID

The unique identification of the step

Note Note

You can assign a step ID manually, or the system automatically assigns a step ID when the routing definition is saved. This value appears on some reports and activities to help you distinguish among duplicate operations on a routing. The step ID does not control step sequencing.

Hold Step Properties Screen

Field

Description

Status

The SFC number step status for this hold

FHold: The future hold step status

Hold: The hold step status

Immediate Hold

Selected: The hold is an immediate hold.

Deselected: The hold is a future hold.

Future Hold Operation

The operation at which the SFC number must be held

Note Note

This operation is only defined if the hold is a future hold.

Scrap Step Properties Screen

Field

Description

Status

The status of the SFC number after the scrap takes place

Scrap SFC Only

If selected, scraps the parent SFC number but not the component SFC numbers

Scrap SFC and Components

If selected, scraps both the parent SFC number and the component SFC numbers

Scrap SFC and Return Components to Floor Stock

If selected, scraps the parent SFC number but removes the component SFC numbers and returns them to floor stock

At least one of the checkboxes must be selected.

Return Step Properties Screen

Field

Description

Return Type

The step to which the SFC number is to return

Return to Original Step: Returns the SFC number to the step it came from

Return to Any Step: Returns the SFC number to any step on the routing

Return to Any Previous Step: Returns the SFC number to any step before the step it came from

Return to Previous Step: Returns the SFC number to the step before the step it came from

Return to Next Step: Returns the SFC number to the step after the step it came from

Note Note

Steps on the original routing defined by nested routings are ignored by return steps.

Return to Operation

The operation to where the SFC number is returned

Note Note

If no operation is specified in this field and there are multiple possible steps to which the SFC number can return, the user is prompted to choose the next step.
