SAPMEINT Configuration Diagnostic Tool

You can use this activity to troubleshoot configuration issues related to system setup required for integration between SAP ME and SAP ERP.

Prerequisites

You have configured SAP ME ERP Integration (SAPMEINT).

Levels

You can view and edit the SAPMEINT configurations at the following levels:

System Level (see Configuration Categories for System Level)

Plant Level (see Configuration Categories for Plant Level)

Fields

The following table describes fields requiring explanation:

Field	Description
Verify Plant Configuration	Verifies all the configuration categories for a specific plant in an asynchronous mode and if any changes are found, updates the status
Refresh	On the left pane, refreshes the List of Plants and updates the status. On the right pane, refreshes the Configuration Category for System Level or Plant Level and updates the status.
Status	Displays the configuration status Green: no errors were found Red: one or more errors were found Yellow: there are warnings Gray: verification failed
Edit	Opens a screen, where you can edit the configuration category. For some configuration categories, there is a multi-navigation option for the Edit button that opens the appropriate screen. For more information, see Editing Configuration Properties.
Verify Configurations	Verifies a specific configuration category for a specific plant. You can select one or more configuration categories and verify them by choosing Verify Configurations. For more information, see Verifying Configuration Categories. Note If one or more configuration categories are selected, the verification takes place asynchronously in the background. After the verification completes, the system automatically updates the status of the configuration and the error log. End of the note.
Show Log	Opens the Log screen with the Configuration Category, Message Type, Message Text, and Verification Date details. You can select one or more configuration categories and view the log details by choosing Show Log.

Note Note

The Verify Plant Configuration, Edit, Verify Configurations, and Show Log fields are unavailable until you select a configuration category.
