You use this activity to assign work (operations to be performed on SFC numbers) to available users within a work center.
You have assigned users to a work center in User Maintenance
or in Work Center Maintenance
.
You have verified setting of the Assignment Enforcement
checkbox in Work Center Maintenance
(see Work Center Maintenance).
You have assigned operations to the work center in the Operation Maintenance
or in Routing Maintenance
.
In the POD, retrieve a work center.
In POD Work List
, select one or more SFC numbers that you want to assign to users.
In Operation List
, select one or more operations to assign to users.
Choose Assign
.
The Supervisor Work Assignment
screen appears.
On the Supervisor Work Assignment
screen, select users from the Available Users
list and move them to the Assigned Users
field.
Choose Assign
to assign work (selected SFC numbers and operations) to the users in the Assigned Users
field.
The system logs the SFC_ASSIGN_ADD
activity code.
