You have set up necessary lists in List Maintenance.
You have set up the Operation
PODs in POD Maintenance
(see Setting Up Operation PODs).
Enter the operation you are performing and resource you are using in the Operation
and Resource
fields in the upper half of the initial Production Operator Dashboard
screen.
Enter the SFC number, process lot, or shop order you are working on in the SFC
field.
Note
This field label may display a value that more closely matches your manufacturing process, for example, Order
.

The Browse Work List displays the SFC numbers in a queue that are waiting to be processed at this operation. To see a shorter list, enter just a few characters of the SFC number in the SFC
field. For example, entering ABC12 displays all SFC numbers that contain ABC12. You can choose multiple SFC numbers in the Browse Work List
.
If you enter a shop order number in the SFC
field, all SFC numbers in the shop order must be in a queue and waiting to be processed at this operation. If you enter a process lot number in the SFC
field, all SFC numbers in the process lot must be in a queue at this operation.
Choose Start
to indicate that you have started working on an SFC number.
The started SFC numbers appear in the POD Work List.
As you work on the SFC numbers, select the SFC numbers in the POD Work List
, and record your work by choosing the functional buttons (see POD Button Activities).

To deselect a row in POD tables, press CTRL and choose the row using the left mouse button.

If other users are currently working on the same operation of an SFC number, the POD displays a message stating this and lets you choose whether to labor them off and remove the SFC numbers from the POD Work List
, or to cancel signoff or to complete. Choose OK
to labor off the other users and sign off or complete the SFC number.
