You use this activity to move SFC numbers to another step on a routing or to mark them as Done
.
In the system, you move SFC numbers by changing their SFC step status. An SFC step status indicates the condition of one or more SFC numbers at a particular routing step. An SFC step status is not the same as an SFC status. The SFC step status of an SFC indicates the work that operators have done on the SFC number at certain operations.
You move SFC numbers by placing them in a queue at another routing step. This activity allows you to do the following:
Place the entire quantity of the SFC number in queue at a routing step
Mark SFC numbers as completed at one or more routing steps
Mark one or more SFC numbers as Done
Move a specified quantity of a non-serialized SFC that is in queue at a step on a relaxed routing to another step on the routing
Clear the SFC step status of one or more routing steps, as though a SFC number was never worked on at the routing step
Mark routing steps as bypassed
You can also view information about the SFC numbers in the SFC report
