You can edit and verify the following configuration categories, defined at plant level:

  • ERP Server Details: JCo Interface

    Choose this category to display details of SAP JCo and Credential Stores. It gets the name of SAP JCo from the supported plants table.

    Verify Configuration

    Checks the SAP ERP system using the server details and the credential SAPMEINT_ALE.

    • If the SAP ERP system is not available, the system displays an error message.

    • If the server returns an error with respect to user name and password, the system displays an error message.

  • ERP Server Details: Message Listener Interface

    Choose this category to display details of the Message Listener in SAP MII and the Application Resource Overview details from SAP NetWeaver.

    Verify Configuration

    Checks if the Message Listener is enabled in SAP MII.

    • If the state color of the Message Listener in SAP MII is red, the system displays an error message.

    • If the value of Max Reader Thread Count is less than or equal to 0, the system displays an error message.

    • If the value of Binding Key is not set to XMIIDOC, the system displays an error message.

    • If the state color of the Message Listener in SAP MII is green, the value of Max Reader Thread Count is greater than 0, and the value of Binding Key is set to XMIIDOC, the system displays a success message.

  • Custom Fields

    Choose this category to display a list of custom field categories in the dropdown list. Select a specific category to display the following List of Custom Fields:

    • BOM

      • ERP_MATERIAL

    • Reason Code

      • CENTRAL_STR_LOCATION

      • COST_CENTER

    • Routing Step (Operation)

      • CONTROL_KEY

    • Routing

      • ERP_VALIDITY_FROM

      • ERP_VALIDITY_TO

      • ERP_LOT_SIZE_FROM

      • ERP_LOT_SIZE_TO

      • ERP_MATERIAL

    Verify Configuration

    Checks if all the custom fields that are set by SAPMEINT configuration are available. If not available, the system displays a warning message.

  • Outbound Collaboration

    Choose this category to display the following list of Trigger Actions in the SAP ME site:

    • COLLABORATION_ERP_SCRAP_BACKFLUSHING

    • COLLABORATION_ERP_SCRAP_CONFIRMATION

    • COLLABORATION_ERP_YIELD_BACKFLUSHING

    The trigger action COLLABORATION_ERP_ROUTING_EXPORT is supported only by SAP ERP 6.05 and Activated MES Integration and above.

    Verify Configuration

    Checks the directive assignment for the trigger actions relevant for SAPMEINT.

    • If the standard directive is available, pings the transport parameter. If successful, the system displays a success message, otherwise the system displays an error message.

    • If the standard directive is not available and there are no other directives available for the trigger action, the system displays a warning message.

    • If the standard directive is not available but there is some other custom directive available, ping the transport parameter. If successful, the system displays a success message, otherwise the system displays a warning message.

    Note Note

    Generally there is one directive for each trigger action but it is possible to add more than one directive.

  • SAP ME Server Details

    Choose this category to display the SAP ME server URL from the Supported Plant table.

    Checks the SAP ME server using the URL and the credential SAPMEINT_ME_AUTH.

  • SOA Configuration

    You must be assigned to the role READ_WSIL (action WSILSecurityRole).

    Choose this category to display the SOA configurations in SAP ME namespace. For each SOA configuration, the system displays the Transport Protocol (HTTP or HTTPS) and HTTP Authentication (True or False).

    Verify Configuration

    Checks if the protocol is HTTPs or HTTP.

    • If the Application Protocol is the same as the Transport Protocol, the system displays a success message.

    • If the Application Protocol is the same as HTTP, and the Transport Protocol is HTTP or HTTPS, the system displays a success message.

    • If the User or ID HTTP authentication is true, the system displays a success message.

      Note Note

      SOA Configuration is verified successfully, only if all the above mentioned checks are verified.

    • If the Application Protocol is same as HTTPS, and the Transport Protocol is HTTP, the system displays an error message.

    • If the User or ID HTTP authentication is false, the system displays an error message.

  • System Rules

    Choose this category to display a table with the following SAP ME system rules:

    • Specific BOM Component Version Required

    • ERP Integration Active

    • Track Production

    • Track Resource Time

    Note Note

    The system displays the system rules Specific BOM Component Version Required and ERP Integration Active, only if they are modified.

    Verify Configuration

    Checks the system rules values against the standard settings. The following are the system rules and their standard settings:

    • Specific BOM Component Version Required set to False

    • ERP Integration Active set to True

    If the system rule value differs, the system displays a warning message.

  • Message Processing Rules

    Choose this category to check whether all SAP MII standard processing rules are available. If they are available, the system displays a success message.

    Verify Configuration

    Checks if any SAP standard processing rules are missing. The system displays a table with a list of missing message processing rules.

  • Service Extensions

    Choose this category to check if the required service extensions are enabled. Displays a success message or a list of disabled service extensions for the system.

    Verify Configuration

    Checks if the required service extensions are enabled or disabled

    • If the required service extensions are enabled, the system displays a success message.

    • If the required service extensions are not enabled, the system displays a warning message and a list of disabled service extensions. Choose Show Log to view a list of disabled service extensions
