Industry 4.0: Substeps
As of SAP ME 15.1 SP01, you can bypass optional substeps to complete the operation. All nonoptional substeps must be marked as finished before the operation can be completed.
The SUBSTEP
category and DEF_SUBSTEP_LIST
are new to the List Maintenance
.

The following rules are new to the Substep List
POD plug-in (SUBSTEP_LIST_DISPLAY
):
AUTO_COMPLETE
If the activity rule is set to
YES
, the system automatically completes the SFC when the last required substep is finished. If the activity rule is set toNO
(default) and all required substeps are finished, you must manually complete the SFC.AUTO_NEXT
If the activity rule is set to
YES
and a substep is finished, the system automatically chooses the next substep ready for processing based on the substep ID. If the activity rule is set toNO
(default), you can select the next substep ready for processing.
