Two-Dimensional (2D) Barcode Scanning
You can use this function to enter component's data by scanning two-dimensional barcodes when assembling a component on the shop floor or receiving a material to floor stock.
Prerequisites
You have verified that the user group to which you belong has the permission to access

Activities
A shop floor operator chooses the
Barcode
field, scans a 2D barcode on a component, and tabs out.The system parses the barcode and does one of the following:

screen (see As-Built Configuration)Fills in data in the
Data to Collect on Floor Stock Receipt

is one of the fields included in the 2D barcode, one 2D barcode scan selects the component and fills in the assembly data fields (see Assembly Point (Assemble Components)).
