  • You have verified settings in ERP Field Maintenance (see ERP Field Maintenance).

  • You have verified that the following reason codes are assigned to the corresponding message types:

    • ERP-Order-Change (message type ERP_ORDER_CHANGE)

    • ERP-SFC-Change (message type ERP_SFC_CHANGE)

For more information, see Reason Code Maintenance and Message Type Maintenance.

  • You have received a production order from SAP ERP, released it and started production.

Activities

When you update a production order in SAP ERP and send it to SAP ME, SAPMEINT places the corresponding Production shop order and all its Active SFC numbers on Immediate hold and applies the following reason codes:

  • ERP-Order-Change

  • ERP-SFC-Change

Two messages (one for the shop order and one that contains the list of SFC numbers that are on hold) appear on SAP ME Message Board to notify the operator (see Message Board).

The operator can release the shop order and SFC numbers from hold using SFC Release Hold and execute Change Production for SFC numbers that require changes (see SFC Release Hold and Change Production).
