Data Collection Entry

The AUTO_NC_100QI activity rule is new to the DC Entry (DC500) activity. It applies to 100% Quality Inspection.

If the rule is set to YES, SAP ME automatically logs the predefined QM_INSP_REJECT NC code against an SFC number that has the Sample Rejected inspection result. The SFC number is dispositioned to the INSPECTION_REJECTED routing and placed on hold.

If the rule is set to NO (default), SAP ME automatically opens the Log NC plug-in when a pass/fail DC group fails. The SFC number remains at the current routing step.

Data Collection Limits Check

The CHECK_BOOLEANS activity rule is new to the Data Collection Limits Check (DC521) activity.

If the rule is set to YES, SAP ME verifies Boolean parameters. If the saved value equals 0 Value, then the system blocks this SFC number. If the saved value equals 1 Value, then the system does not block this SFC number unless other parameters fail verification.

If the rule is set to NO (default), SAP ME ignores Boolean parameters when checking data collection limits.

Open Data Collections Check

As of SAP ME 15.1, the system ignores QM Inspection Group DC groups when checking for missing data parameters that must be collected for an SFC number.

Automatic NC logging

As of SAP ME 15.1, you can configure the system to automatically log an NC code when a parametric value entered for an SFC number during data collection is outside the maximum and minimum limits.

The Auto Log NC on Min/Max Override field is new to Data Collection Maintenance.

Log NC (NC Data Entry)

The RELAXED_APPLY_TO_ALL rule is new to the NC_DATA_ENTRY activity.

If the rule is set to YES, allows you to use the Apply to All checkbox in the NC Data Entry POD plug-in for multiple SFC numbers even if they have different characteristics such as operation, BOM, material, NC history, and routing.

Sample Inspection Lot

The DISPLAY_PLUGIN_100QI activity rule is new to the Sample Inspection Lot (QM030) activity. This rule applies to 100% quality inspection. If the rule is set to NO, the system does not display the Sample Inspection Lot POD plug-in when you choose a POD button with QM030 assigned.

Archiving message logs

As of SAP ME 15.1, you can archive message log records.

The Days Before Archiving Message Log Entries system rule is new. This rule specifies the number of days that Closed, Withdrawn or Revoked message log records remain in the WIP database before the system archives them. For more information, see Miscellaneous Rules.

Background Process Execution

The Labor Rollup background process is new. It allows you to summarize labor-related data.

Next number for container number

As of SAP ME 15.1, you can configure the system to generate next numbers for a container number based on container type.

The Define by Container field for the Container Number type is new to Next Number Maintenance. For more information, see Next Number Maintenance.

Operation List

The SHOW_ALL_OPER_LIST_ICONS activity rule is new to the Operation List (OPER_LIST_DISPLAY) activity. If the rule is set to TRUE, SAP ME displays all icons in the Info column of the Operation List upon selection of an SFC number from the Work List. If the rule is set to FALSE (default), SAP ME displays all icons in the Info column of the Operation List upon selection of an operation from the Operation List. HTLM Viewer

As of SAP ME 15.1, you can view dynamic content in the HTML Viewer. For more information, see HTML Viewer.
