You can locate and delete customer-specific data in the system that is directly or indirectly assigned to the relevant company code.

Note Note

You can start the go live on a weekend of your choice. The deletion of the company code is not based on a key date.

Prerequisites

With the aid of an analysis, you have obtained an overview over all relevant organizational units, interenterprise processes and the estimated downtime.

In the preparatory phase, you have checked the data suggested for deletion and adjusted it accordingly if necessary.

Features

The deletion of a company code includes company code data in the following areas:

  • Master data

  • Transaction data

  • Customizing data

All relevant data (SAP or customer-specific) are changed directly on the database level. After the change, the system only contains the changed data.

Result

The deleted company code has completely disappeared and can not be found in the system.

Mapping checks output messages that are classified by relevance.
