Defines the fundamental properties of an activity.
The activity category specified in the activity type defines the nature of the activity and the activity type is the customer-defined version of this activity category. Furthermore, the activity type specifies the partner roles required for the activity, and if the automatic notification function should be executed upon creation of an activity. You cannot create an activity (template) unless an activity type is assigned to it.
For example, the activity type "Approval with Digital Signature" is a specific type of activity category "Approval".
