A message that is generated by the system landscape management platform when an event is detected, for example, when operations either fully or partially fail, or when a user-defined condition is met, such as a resource capacity threshold is exceeded.
The event could be associated with a managed SAP system or system component, an external hardware or software component, an internal subsystem, or the management platform itself.
