A high-level grouping of company assets that are in scope for risk management efforts. The company assets are represented by the individual activity hierarchies such as process and sub-process structures in Process Control and work breakdown structures (for projects).
The activity type can therefore be seen as an entry point for other SAP or non-SAP applications to represent risk-specific information in the appropriate business context and re-use existing structures.
Examples of Risk Management activity types are Business Processes, Initiatives and Projects.
