A role-based security architecture for Microsoft Windows 2003 Server# or Microsoft Windows 2000 Server# (Service Pack 4) that can be used in any application that requires role-based authorization, such as ASP.NET Web applications or Web services.
The Authorization Manager consists of a runtime environment and a Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in tool that allows network administrators to define roles, assign users and groups to application roles, and create application groups based on an employee#s job role or an organization#s structure.
