asset item (FI-AA)

Asset Accounting (FI-AA)

A level in the hierarchy of objects that makes up an asset.

The asset item lies below an asset type and asset structure.

You use the different levels to aggregate asset data for reporting purposes, for example, in the Annex 16 report.

Example

Within the asset type Buildings and the asset structure brick, you have offices and storage rooms.

Offices and storage rooms are asset items.
