Attribute categorization is not strictly hierarchical. It allows the use of category duplicates to indicate value combinations.

Example

Attribute categorization can be used to illustrate various complaint reasons and returned products by using categories in a category schema. The complaint and the various products in the categorization schema can appear as duplicates, but the different complaint reasons would each be separate categories.
