A controlled process used to monitor and valuate the academic work which a student must complete to successfully complete the module, study segment, or program.
An assessment is described in several process steps:
Assessments can be simple exams. They can also describe more complex processes, each of which can contain audits and several exams.
The SAP system maps an assessment in the academic structure by means of the "assessment" object (object type CE). An assessment can be linked to a program and optionally to a specific study segment of this program, or to a module. The assessment describes the process rules which are required for completion of the linked object. A scheduled assessment is created for an assessment.
