Registering a Syndicator with the Subscriber 

Use

To be able to receive content from a syndicator you need to register the syndicator on the subscriber system. A syndicator is automatically registered on your system when you request the syndicator’s catalog of offers.

Prerequisites

You must know the logon data that is required to connect to the syndicator.

Procedure

       1.      In the Subscriber Administration iView, choose Syndicators.

A list of registered syndicators is displayed.

       2.      To register a new syndicator, choose New.

       3.      Enter the syndicator URL, the user and password, confirm the password and choose Get Catalog.

The new syndicator’s catalog data is displayed including the syndicator’s UUID and description and its offers. In addition, a default name for the syndicator is displayed in the Name field. You may edit this field and enter your own descriptive name for the syndicator.

Result

The syndicator is registered on your system.

You can continue, and create subscriptions based on the offers provided by this syndicator, or you can do that later.
