The role defines the area and processing mode (display, change, translate) in which you want to work in the Knowledge Warehouse.

Different functions are available, depending on your role.

For example, you can delete information objects in processing mode Change, but not in processing mode Translate. In processing mode Translate you can access information objects in the chosen source and target languages.

Prerequisites

You are logged onto the SAP System in which you want to change and translate information objects.

Procedure

In the user menu, choose the role in which you want to use the SAP Knowledge Warehouse.

Result

The initial screen with the functions available for the chosen role is displayed.
