An object that enables you to manage master data changes in Financial Master Data Management. A change request contains the objects to be changed as well as comments about the changes. A workflow sends the change request to the various persons involved.
The change request type determines several properties of the change request; for example, which entity types can be changed.
The status controls which actions are allowed when processing the change request, to whom the change request is sent, and whether the changes are saved in the system.
The change request must be assigned to either an entity type or a data model.
